What is a Cloud Computer? How is it different from an ordinary PC?
An ordinary computer is a powerful all-in-one machine containing many costly and complicated pieces of hardware and software. Many of these machines also do double duty as DVD players, CD players, and Game Machines.
A Cloud Computer is a re-imagination of this idea of a computer. We think that an ordinary computer is too expensive, too complicated, and too much for what most people want to use a computer for. What we did is put all of the costly and complicated pieces of hardware and software into our data centers. You then use a smaller, simpler, much less expensive device thats always connected to the internet to control your computer. What are your Payment Plans? And what is included with the Monthly Service?
The best part about a cloud computer is that you can get it as a monthly service. Our service costs $19 per month. You can also get a free version of the same service.

How can you have a free service?
We think that cost should not keep people from enjoying a computer. In addition to our low-cost subscriptions, we have a free version of our service. These will be supported by advertising sponsorship delivered in an ad panel. This is a model used throughout the internet to make high quality free services available. We think the same model can apply to the computer as well. We always respect the privacy and security of all users. We believe that advertising can be useful and that it must not annoy or get in the way of your basic experience and we will strive our utmost to make it so. Don’t like ads? No problem, just sign-up for our affordable subscription version which does not have an ad panel. Take a look at our Dynamic Desktop area to see where the ad panel sits.
Why do you need to a $50 hold on my credit card?
The nimbus device has a value of $50. As part of our return policy, we put a hold on your credit card for that amount. If you return the device to us upon cancellation or inactivity (for free customers), your credit card will not be charged and the hold will be removed. If you cancel your service or if you don’t use your service, and you don’t return the nimbus device to us, your credit card will be charged. You can read more about our Return Policy here.

Can I play DVDs, CDs and PC Games?
With the nimbus cloud computer, you use a smaller, simpler, much less expensive device thats always connected to the internet to control your computer. All of the double duty (DVD player, CD player, and PC Game Machine) is removed to make this device as efficient as possible. But thats good news for you. You will save so much money with our service, you should be able to buy dedicated machines for those other uses!
Can I use Windows or Apple software?
The nimbus cloud computer currently does not support windows or apple software.
